The Carpinteria girls tennis team faced a formidable challenge when they took on Thousand Oaks, but the Warriors rose to the occasion. Despite multiple close sets, the team managed to secure an 11-7 victory over the Lancers. In singles play, the Warriors' three players each came away with two wins out of three sets, showcasing their individual talent and resilience. The doubles duo of Keyla Manriquez and Charlotte Cooney continued their impressive season, sweeping their opponents with another 3-0 victory.

"As much as I enjoyed the final score, I don't think it was our finest performance," he said. "We had up-and-down play throughout and that did not sit well as this match easily could have got away from us. Our consistency from set to set has to improve."Despite the occasional lapses, the Warriors proved to be a well-rounded squad, winning six sets in both singles and doubles. The standout duo of Manriquez and Cooney continued their stellar season with another three-set sweep, while Allison Banks and Sasha Porinsh contributed two more wins.
